Our History

In 1969 Golden Rule Seafood was owned and operated by Benn and LaVerne Mullins.

Over the years many family members joined Benn & LaVerne at the Golden Rule. Some of the family members include Gus Mullins (Benn’s father), Jeffrey Mullins (Benn & LaVerne’s son), Walter Flores (Benn & LaVerne’s son-in-law), Lisa Mullins (Benn & LaVerne’s daughter).

Having all of the family there is part of what makes Golden Rule Seafood so special and unique in the community.

In 1999 Golden Rule Seafood was purchased by Pamela Mullins & Walter Flores, (Benn & LaVerne’s Daughter and Son-in-law) who are currently the proud owners.

Keeping it in the family Jeffrey Mullins has continued to work there since 1974. His daughters; Brittany & Elise also work at the Golden Rule.

Jordan MullinsFlores, Taylor Mullins-Flores, and Courtney Reeder (children of Walter & Pam ) are also proud to work with their family at

Golden Rule Seafood.
